Patrick J. Foye, Executive Director of the Port Authority of NY and NJ, Discusses Queens as a "Gateway to the World" at Nov. 20 Business Forum

Presentation by Patrick J. Foye on why Queens is the gateway to the world, with an audience Q&A session to follow. Breakfast will be served.

Background:  Patrick J. Foye became executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in November 2011. Prior to joining the Port Authority, he served as deputy secretary for economic development for Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. Foye was a mergers and acquisitions partner at Skadden Arps and managing partner of the firm’s Brussels, Budapest and Moscow offices. He also was executive vice president of AIMCO, a real estate investment trust and a component of the S&P 500, and served as president and CEO of the United Way of Long Island.
Launched in 2005, the QC Business Forum brings together the business community, local government, academia, and students to provide an opportunity for town and gown to interact. Influential leaders in a number of fields serve as keynote speakers at its breakfast and lunchtime lectures, touching on issues vital to the local business community.
