Showing up to work didn’t even feel like work, more like a passion. It is very rare to come across a paid internship opportunity, especially if you are undocumented. However, thanks to this funding program, I was able to better engage in the internship that was not only aligned with my major but also with a career aspiration of mine. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for this funding program and how much it has helped me relieve my financial burden.” (Anonymous, Senior)

“TheDream.US Internship Funding Program has had a profoundly positive impact on my academic and professional journey at Queens College. The funding allowed me to fully engage with my internship without the financial stress of balancing additional work, enabling me to focus on developing skills crucial for my career goals. Through this program, I gained practical experience in communication, event coordination, and community outreach, which have enriched my understanding of how to apply my English major to real-world contexts.
