Journals, newspapers, and magazines are stored on\u00a0Level 1<\/em>\u00a0and circulating books can be found on\u00a0Levels 4 and 5<\/em>, with the first half of the alphabet (A-L) on Level 4 and the remainder (P-Z) on Level 5. Materials relating to music and art are located in the\u00a0Music Library<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Arts, Design & Media Studies<\/a>, respectively.<\/p>\n Most books in the library are organized according to the Library of Congress Classification scheme. This system is a standard shared by many academic libraries throughout the United States. Below is a list of popular topics and their place in the classification scheme.
