Queens College Special Collections and Archives honor Lucille Kyvallos\u2019 contribution to the world of women\u2019s sports by showcasing selections from her recently processed archival records and memorabilia. Kyvallos is a trailblazer in collegiate women\u2019s basketball. She was the head coach of the Women\u2019s Basketball team at Queens College from 1968 through 1981, holding an overall record of 239-77.\u00a0Visit the Library and check it out!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

No Pledging Required: House Plans at Queens College<\/em>, fall 2018<\/strong>
\nHouse plans were single-gender associations similar to fraternities and sororities, but less exclusive, which played a significant role in the social life of the campus from the 1950s to the 1970s. Memorabilia donated by alumni demonstrated the vibrancy of these associations and the relationships they fostered.<\/p>\n
