Donations of any amount are helpful and allow us to purchase more materials for the Music Library collections (such as scores, books on music, recordings (CDs and DVDs), reference materials, facsimiles, etc.) and to purchase preservation materials. For donations given in honor or memory of someone, the name(s) of the donor or the honoree will be included in the record in the CUNY Catalog and the donor will receive a letter acknowledging the donation.<\/p>\n<p>Visit the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/qccommunity.qc.cuny.edu\/?\/waystogive.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Queens College Foundation<\/a>, to make a donation online with a credit card or see additional giving options.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; background_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;||||true|true&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; border_color_all=&#8221;#A9A9A9&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Endowments&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Endowments<\/h2>\n<p>An endowment is a permanent gift that keeps on giving. The principal remains intact and only a percentage of the earned income is used annually by the Music Library. The Music Library has four existing Endowments to which one may contribute:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Raymond Erickson Endowment (for Reference materials)<\/li>\n<li>Claude V. Palisca Endowment (supporting all music acquisitions)<\/li>\n<li>The Ursula Springer Choral Music Endowment<\/li>\n<li>David S. Walker Endowment for Music Education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional endowments can be established for as little as $10,000 and can be used to support a subject of interest to the donor.
