This month, we are looking at those who make the music come off the page, performers. Often glazed over in history books in favor of theorists and composers, only a few blocks of text are reserved for virtuosos such as Niccolo Paganini and Pablo Pascals. Of course there are countless other noteworthy musicians who have meaningfully contributed to music as well as culture and politics. These movers and shakers that have caused such ripples are often the least represented in classical music.\u00a0<\/p>\n
