So&nbsp;here are a bunch of events that you won&#8217;t avoid!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Theatre<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ongoing through December 4:&nbsp;William Shakespeare\u2019s comedy&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wnet\/gperf\/much-ado-about-nothing-full-episode\/10194\/\">Much Ado About Nothing<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;recorded in 2019 at Shakespeare in the Park. Available as part of&nbsp;PBS Great Performances.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Ongoing through December 4:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wnet\/gperf\/red-full-episode\/10192\/\">Alfred Molina with Alfred Enoch star in&nbsp;<\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wnet\/gperf\/red-full-episode\/10192\/\">Red<\/a>,<\/em>&nbsp;John Logan&#8217;s award winning play about painter Mark Rothko. Also from PBS, this was filmed in 2018 at the Wyndham&#8217;s Theatre in London.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Music<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Tuesday, November 17 at 4 PM:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/kupferbergcenter.org\/event\/music-makers-alex-condes-flamenco-jazz-quartet\/\">Alex Conde performs<\/a>, as part of the Kupferberg Center for the Arts&#8217;&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/kupferbergcenter.org\/events\/category\/music-makers-2020\/\">Music Makers series.<\/a>&nbsp;Drawing on the rich traditions of jazz and flamenco, he creates a contemporary fusion of both genres.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Saturday, November 21 at 3 PM: The Kupferberg Center for the Arts presents &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/kupferbergcenter.org\/event\/a-musical-journey-through-queens-the-jazz-queens-of-queens\/\">The Jazz Queens of Queens<\/a>,&#8221; a program for youth and families about female jazz legends who&#8217;ve called Queens home.&nbsp;Vocalist and curator Claudia Zanes explores the lives and music of&nbsp;Eva Taylor, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Lena Horne. &nbsp;<\/li><li>Ongoing: Fridays at 8:00PM through November:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.twitch.tv\/treyanastasio\">The Beacon Jams,<\/a>&nbsp;streamed live from the historic NYC venue, features a variety of performances and audience interaction. Hosted by guitarist Trey Anastasio.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Art<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Thursday, November 19 at 8 AM: Start off your day with The Museum of Modern Art\u2019s presentation&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.moma.org\/calendar\/events\/6684\">Slow Looking: Connecting to Self and Place.<\/a>&nbsp;Spend an hour exploring one work of art with guided activities and audience interaction. Registration required.<\/li><li>Friday, November 20 at 10 AM: The Whitney Museum continues&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/whitney.org\/events\/verbal-description-online-nov-20\">Verbal Description Online with Vida Americana: Mexican Muralists Remake American Art.<\/a>&nbsp;This program allows people with visual impairments to enjoy various collections from the museum. Event is free but requires registration.<\/li><li>Tuesday, November 24 at 6 PM: The Whitney Museum explores&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/whitney.org\/events\/art-history-from-home-nov-24\">Abstract Art in America<\/a>&nbsp;as part of their Art History from Home program. Registration required.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sunday, November 22 at 7:30PM: Lincoln Center presents&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/LincolnCenter\"><em>New York is Burning<\/em>&nbsp;performed by Les Ballet Afrik.<\/a>&nbsp;This is an homage celebrating the 30th anniversary of the documentary&nbsp;<em>Paris is Burning.<\/em>&nbsp;It reflects the aspirations, desires and yearnings of a diverse group of dancers for which the dance company serves as a surrogate family during yet another period where health, race, and financial crises continue to brew.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thanksgiving<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/libapps.s3.amazonaws.com\/accounts\/255205\/images\/is-a-charlie-brown-thanksgiving-on-tonight-how-what-time-and_a3kb.h720.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"314\" height=\"176\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 314px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 314\/176;\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Thursday, November 26 at 9 AM:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/nbc.com\/\">The 93rd annual Macy\u2019s Day Parade<\/a>&nbsp;will be airing on TV and at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/nbc.com\/\">NBC.com<\/a>&nbsp;with a rebroadcast later at 2 PM.
