{"id":6851,"date":"2022-03-14T14:20:13","date_gmt":"2022-03-14T18:20:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/library.qc.cuny.edu\/?p=6851"},"modified":"2022-03-14T14:20:13","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T18:20:13","slug":"wiki-week-at-queens-college-4th-annual-edit-a-thon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.qc.cuny.edu\/library\/2022\/03\/14\/wiki-week-at-queens-college-4th-annual-edit-a-thon\/","title":{"rendered":"Wiki-Week at Queens College (4th annual edit-a-thon!)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are excited to invite announce that the Queens College Libraries will be holding a series of virtual edit-a-thons on the <strong>week of March 21.<\/strong> This will be our fourth annual edit-a-thon, and the second to be held virtually.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An edit-a-thon is an event where participants come together to edit Wikipedia.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is for both complete newcomers and experienced Wikipedians. If you\u2019ve never edited an article before, don\u2019t worry! This is a friendly and approachable way to begin. Instruction and assistance are provided; we will teach you how to make edits and how to make your edits stick.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the week of March 21, the library will host two edit-a-thons; please feel free to attend one or both!
