The exhibition celebrates the college\u2019s history of providing opportunities for so many students over the decades while recognizing that we are continually \u201cunder construction\u201d to meet the demands of the future. The exhibit premiers on October 12th in conjunction with the celebration of the 85<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of Queens College.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/library.qc.cuny.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/85anniversary_model8-1024x686.jpg\" alt=\"Model of the Queens College grounds, circa 1937\" class=\"wp-image-7402 lazyload\" width=\"410\" height=\"274\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 410px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 410\/274;\" \/><figcaption> <em><sub>Model of the Queens College grounds, circa 1937<\/sub><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlights of the exhibit include a never-before-displayed 1915 photo album documenting the Parental School (the predecessor institution to Queens College); a refurbished model of the grounds circa 1937; maps, images, and printed ephemera that document the campus and its activities throughout the decades; and even groundbreaking shovels.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibit takes place across three satellite locations and will be on view through the end of the fall 2022 semester.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>See the exhibit:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Barham Rotunda at the Benjamin S.
