Assistant Professor of Art in Photography & Imaging<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Matt Greco is a Co-PI and Faculty Fellow on the Make STEAM Q project.<\/p>\n Matt’s making interests focus around 3 dimensional objects, especially ceramics. Ceramics are both strong and fragile and Matt’s view of the importance of making is paralleled with his favorite thing to make: “It’s important for me to know the world around me – how the delicate and complex systems of stuff in this universe works. Being a maker is critical to an understanding of things real and imagined.”<\/p>\n He hopes that students learning about making through this grant learn “that an energetic, self-directed exploration of the world will bring success and satisfaction.”<\/p>\n
