Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Dr. Bradley Bergey is a Co-PI on the Make STEAM Q project focused on data collection, analysis, and dissemination activities.<\/p>\n “Making for me is a form of play. It teaches me (again!) to approach problems playfully and with flexibility. Making often affords the opportunity to be responsive to what emerges from doing, often in unexpected ways. I enjoy the tension between the intended and the unintended — control and lack of it. And, its fun (and fun is good). I hope students learn that making and design thinking help develop skillsets and attitudes that are both personally valuable and professionally useful.”<\/p>\n Dr. Bergey enjoys experimenting with different forms of making and often tinkers with his kids.<\/p>\n
