Senior Associate at Kate Winter Evaluation, LLC<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Amanda is one of the project evaluators for Make STEAM Q. Amanda’s favorite things to make are paintings: “I started painting about a year ago with no training or “know-how”. I just went to the store, bought supplies that I liked, and started experimenting. It is messy and that’s the best part.” She likes bold colors, and lots of gold leaf.<\/p>\n In regards to the Make STEAM Q project, she shared, “I hope students learn the feeling about being “in the flow”. Those hours that feel like minutes while you are in your element or learning something new and exciting are invigorating.”<\/p>\n
