The four reporting areas of the office are:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p1\">Title IX<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">DEI<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Affirmative Action<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Accessibility<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p1\">We specialize in creating and implementing policies, procedures, and practices that align with the colleges\u2019 values and ideals, including fairness <strong><em>and<\/em><\/strong> compliance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We provide support and resources for all QC community members to thrive academically, professionally, socially, and personally.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We educate and train everyone to fully understand the compliance requirements and overall expectations regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qc.cuny.edu\/ocd\/title-ix\">Title IX<\/a>, DEI,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.qc.cuny.edu\/ocd\/affirmative-action\/\"> Affirmative Action<\/a>, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;2_5&#8243; When appropriate, we coordinate supportive measures and accommodations during investigations. We consult and coordinate with academic and administrative departments to increase workforce diversity and eliminate under-representation of females and minorities, such as those who identify as Black or African-American, Asian or Pacific Islander, Hispanic, Italian-American, and LGBTQIAA+.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Text&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4>Recruitment<\/h4>\n<p>We ensure compliance with CUNY and QC policies and procedures regarding all recruitment. This includes policies and procedures related to Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, discrimination and sexual harassment prevention, and domestic violence awareness and prevention.
