Large Scale Traditional Programming & Events<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Office of Student Development and Leadership<\/a> provides students with a variety of educational and recreational opportunities to get involved on campus and to engage the entire Queens College campus community.<\/p>\n

Some large-scale programming and events include but are not limited to;<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Rest and Relaxation Programming Before Finals<\/p>\n

Collaborations with the President\u2019s office to provide programs such as the Monday Mile with President Wu<\/i>\u00a0to kick off the start of the college\u2019s annual Diversity Week!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Our office also collaborates with other campus & academic partners to provide events that include bringing QC Alumni back for workshops, educational programs, and networking opportunities.\u00a0 Check out our Spring Concert from 2023 with Waka Flaka\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Welcome Day<\/a> is the colleges second largest scale event that takes place each academic year! Our annual Welcome Day celebration is coordinated for all incoming first year and transfer students and is filled with engaging activities, ice breaker activities, giveaways, and a concert on the Quad sponsored by the Student Association. Welcome Day is a great opportunity to meet new students, faculty, and staff and to officially become a part of the Queens College community!<\/p>\n

College Union Programming Board (CUPB)<\/strong><\/p>\n

CUPB is a student run activities committee that hosts large scale and traditional programs throughout the year for their peers!<\/p>\n

The goal of CUPB is to provide diversified quality entertainment, cultural, and recreational activities for the benefit and enjoyment of the Queens College campus community. CUPB works to provide all students with various opportunities for leadership development, group planning experiences, and cultivating individual vocational and avocational skills through the creation, planning, and promotion of establishing events on campus. Additionally, those involved with the activities planning and management of CUPB events work to develop professional working relationships and event collaborations with campus partners.<\/p>\n
