The school responsible for awarding the degree is considered the student\u2019s \u201cParent\u201d school, while all other institutions are designated as \u201cguest\u201d schools.<\/p>\n If a Queens College (QC) student is taking an ePermit course at another CUNY institution, they must provide the following documentation to the School Certifying Official (SCO) at Queens College in order to be certified at Queens College: If you’re taking courses at Queens College via ePermit toward a degree from another school, Queens College is considered the guest school. Make sure to speak with the VA School Certifying Official (SCO) at your Parent school. They\u2019ll let you know what\u2019s needed.
