Bilingual Education Extension Progam (7-12)

This program provides a 15-credit course of study with guided field experiences to prepare certified teachers for working with bilingual English language learners as well as native English speaking learners who are bilinguals in both mainstream subject matter and bilingual classrooms. More Info

MA in Teaching Science in Adolescent grades (1-7)

SPIRITAS is a new program at Queens College, designed for people who already have a science degree and who are committed to teaching in high-needs urban schools where they can make a difference. In our two-year program, science graduates earn a master's degree and become certified to teach.

MA in Teaching Science in Elementary Education grades (1-6)

Offers a masters degree with grades 1-6 certification with an option for dual certification in elementary education and special education. These programs are for individuals who currently hold no teacher certification.

MS in Early Childhood Special Education & Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Also offered within the program is a Post-Masters Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Special Education.

Provides opportunities for students to engage in reflective dialogue to validate what they have learned.  We believe that the pursuit of scientific knowledge does not take place in a vacuum, but within a dynamic historical, social, cultural, economic and political context.
