Argentine Literature & Political History

Immerse yourself in Argentina’s vibrant cultural life as you learn about Argentina’s history, literature, and the courageous organizations that have brought Argentina to the forefront of the struggle for universal human rights. As a place to study culture and history, Buenos Aires is a city of nearly unmatched resources. As Argentina’s capital and largest city, it has repelled foreign invasions and suffered the unthinkable abuses of repressive dictatorships. Today, politicians and social movements continue to evoke the country’s history as they work to shape its future. History feels alive in Buenos Aires in a way it rarely does elsewhere, and its cultural offerings are as broad as the imagination of the artists and thinkers who call it home.
