Direct Deposit

You may have your financial aid funds electronically deposited for you. We recommend direct
deposit for its speed, security and convenience.

>>> For checks paid through the standard CUNY financial aid payroll system, there are 2 variations of direct deposit for your aid checks.

We understand that both may take a few weeks to take effect after you enroll, so don't wait until the last minute.

If you wish to set up direct deposit into your personal checking or savings account as your method of payment, print a copy of the Direct Deposit Authorization Form and complete it and submit it to the Bursar's Office, Jefferson Hall, Room 200. For more information about direct deposit, contact the Bursar's Office.

To enroll in the CitiBank CUNY Scholar Support Prepaid Card Program, see details at http://www.cuny.edu/admissions/financial-aid/info-resources/scholars-support/faqs.html. Note that restrictions and account expiration issues are associated with this prepaid card. Both enrolling and unenrolling are done on the same CitiBank web site.

>>> If you are due a refund based on a late TAP payment, or based on other payments CUNYFirst initially applied to your bill at the College, the process is different and it is refunded to you through CUNYFirst. There are currently NO direct deposit options available for refunds paid through a College check by CUNYFirst.
