Application Checklist

Spring 2017 Semester 

Applications for Spring 2017​ are submitted through the City University of New York (CUNY) system. The following checklist provides details to help you plan your application, and to familiarize you with the admissions process. 

Fall 2017 Semester

Applications for Fall 2017 are now available. 

In addition, be sure to learn about QC in 4​, our exciting new four-year graduation program, which is available to incoming freshmen starting Fall 2017.

Prepare and File Your Application

The college application process can take six weeks or more. Plan ahead so you're not left behind. Applications to Queens College are submitted online through the City University of New York (CUNY).

Fall: February 1
Spring: September 15
Macaulay Honors College: December 1

When you're ready to apply to Queens College through CUNY, you'll need to acquaint yourself with the application process. CUNY has prepared an application worksheet to guide you along the way.

After you apply online, you'll need to mail your transcripts, test scores, and any other required information to CUNY. Upon sending all necessary documents to CUNY, allow four to six weeks to be notified of your admission decision.

During this period, domestic applicants may check the status of their applications. If you were educated abroad, email your status inquiry to Include your application control number (10-digit number beginning with a "W" that can be found in your application summary package) in the body of the email.

If accepted, you will receive a formal acceptance email from Queens College.

If you are not accepted, you will be notified by email.
