Direct Admissions

Beginning June 1, we will begin reviewing Direct Admissions applications for the Fall 2015 semester. As a Direct Admit applicant, you will meet with an Admissions Counselor to find out—on the spot—if you are eligible for Queens College. Please read the sections below to learn what you need to bring in to the office. To make a final decision, please bring official documents from all the schools you have attended.

Direct Admissions applications:

June 1-August 7: Monday-Friday 9 am-4 pm
Jefferson Hall Welcome Center

Direct Admissions FAQ

Students educated outside the US and US Territories:

We cannot process your application for Direct Admissions. You must apply through UAPC for the Spring 2016 semester. More information.

Transfer students should bring:
  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended. An official transcript must be in a sealed envelope from the institution issuing it. If the institution will not give you an official transcript, please have it mailed to the address below. Before coming in to the office, call 718-997-5600 to see if we have received your transcript. If you have the transcript mailed directly to you, please do not open it. Once opened, it is no longer official.
  • If you are a CUNY student, we will have access to your transcript.
  • If you have not passed a 100-level English course and a 100-level math course with a grade of C or better, you must bring your standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) and/or New York State Regents Exams.
  • If you are eligible for admission, you will be required to pay a nonrefundable commitment deposit of $100 that will be deducted from your tuition before you are allowed to register for classes. If you want to speed up the process, you may bring a check or money order with you.
