Student taking a study on patterns

Want to become a teacher, but lack the education credits required by New York State? With post-baccalaureate advanced certification, you can enter the classroom.

Queens College issues post-bachelor’s certificates in early childhood and childhood education, as well as in art, music, and physical education. Aspiring secondary school teachers can choose among tracks in English, foreign languages, math, science, and social studies. Veteran educators can increase their knowledge through post-master’s programs in educational leadership and school psychology.

To learn more about any of these programs, please contact the appropriate department.
