Library, detail of bookshelf

To meet the demand for specialists, the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies offers certificates in children and young adult services, and in archives, records management, and preservation. Both programs accept qualified paraprofessionals, current master’s students, and those who already have an MLS; paraprofessionals may have to take core courses as a prerequisite for the certificate curriculum. Post-master’s Studies in Librarianship is an individualized program for graduate library/information service professionals who want to redefine their current jobs, or get ready for new ones. For more information, please visit library science certificate programs.
