Find your scholarship

Queens College is committed to assisting students through scholarships; we provide information about awards available on campus, as well as prestigious national programs. Scholarships may be based on academic merit, financial need, program of study, and student year. At any stage in your education, we encourage you to stop by the office to explore your options and find out how to pursue them.

The scholarship list below highlights the opportunities available through Queens College. Other external scholarships are available on the CUNY website. Apply to all the scholarships for which you qualify and check back to see if additional ones are available. If you do not see a deadline listed, the award may not be available at the moment. Please use the contact information next to the award for more details.

Some scholarships have individual applications. For QC Foundation Scholarships, candidates complete a single application that covers multiple awards (indicated by "Apply Now QCF"). To be considered for all QCF scholarships for which you are eligible, you need to submit only one QCF application per semester.

Queens College Foundation Internal Scholarship

This group of scholarships is for all full-time* matriculated students and varies from semester to semester in accordance with available funding. Most but not all of these awards require that the student show financial need (as per the FAFSA – Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Students must file the FAFSA for the academic year in which they are applying for an award. If the FAFSA is not filed, a student can only be considered for awards that do not include financial need among the criteria. Additionally, two letters of recommendation are required.

Students will be evaluated for all awards in this category for which they fulfill the requirements (i.e. GPA, major, class standing, financial need – if required). Amounts vary from $250 to $2,500.

The deadline is March 10 to be considered for a fall scholarship and October 10 to be considered for a spring scholarship. There are no summer scholarships.

*Full-time is 12-credit minimum for undergraduates; 6-credit minimum for graduate students.
