Ethnically diverse group of students in classroom

If you’re an adult age 25 and older, with a high school diploma or a GED, Adult Collegiate Education will allow you to obtain academic credit for your life achievements while you work toward a bachelor’s degree. Can’t attend classes during the week? Busy students can pursue their degrees on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays through the Weekend College.

Short but intensive courses are offered during Summer Session and Winter Session. The Freshman Year Initiative is designed to help new collegians make the most of their first semester at school.

SEEK—the Search for Education, Elevation, and Knowledge—serves as a gateway for academically and financially disadvantaged students who need extra support to succeed at college. At the other end of age spectrum, seniors can sit in on classes on a non-credit, space-available basis through our low-cost Senior Citizen Program.

The College Now Program at Queens College is part of a city-wide collaborative initiative between the City University of New York (CUNY) and the New York City Department of Education.  Its primary goals are to improve the academic achievement of high school students and to ensure that graduating students are ready to do college-level work.

And for those wishing to improve their command of English, the English as a Second Language program offers convenient courses during the day and evening as well as on weekends.
