The Media Services division of O.C.T. provides campus-wide, technological support for the college's instructional and research programs and for many college-sponsored activities and events. Media Services also provides a full range of audiovisual support to classrooms, conferences and meetings on campus that are sponsored by the college community or outside organizations.
Services include:
- The scheduling and delivery of audiovisual equipment to QC classrooms with the exception of Kissena Hall, Temps 1 and 2, Horace Harding, Klapper Hall, and the B, E and G Buildings (where storage rooms are not available).
- Technical support, training in the use of audiovisual equipment and keys to the secured audiovisual closets and podiums located in classrooms, seminar rooms and conference rooms throughout the campus.
- Support for college special events, including Commencement, meetings and conferences.
- Loaning of and instruction in the use of portable audiovisual equipment to staff and students.
- Satellite teleconferencing, taping of off-air licensed programs from cable and satellite feed.
- Audio and videotape duplication (with copyright permission).
- Duplication and sale of language audio CDs.
The following equipment is available in most upgraded rooms:
- Data/video projector
- Installed PC
- VCR/DVD
- Laptop connection
- iPod connection
