As Queens College will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays, the QC Shuttle Bus service will be suspended on December 24, 25, 31, and January 1.
During Winter Session—January 2 through January 23—bus service will run from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday through Sunday, with the exception of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 19, when there will be no service.

Queens College Introduces Shuttle Bus Service for Fall 2014

The Queens College Shuttle

To reduce commute time and improve access to campus, Queens College launched a new shuttle bus service on August 28. The shuttle offers a faster, more convenient way to travel between the college and the two major transit hubs serving our community, Jamaica Station and Flushing-Main Street Station.
The Queens College shuttle operates seven days a week, providing non-stop service throughout the day between the campus and these two stations. It also provides cross-campus service throughout the day between Queens Hall and the Student Union Building.

All Queens College Students Aboard

Any Queens College student may ride the shuttle by displaying a current QCard as identification.

Faculty and Staff Service

Faculty and staff can take advantage of the shuttle by buying and displaying their "pass," a sticker that goes on the college identification card. Stickers can be purchased at Public Safety on the second floor of Jefferson Hall. For more information, click here

Routes and Schedules

The shuttle service operates weekdays 7 am-11 pm and weekends 7 am-7 pm, covering two routes.

  • From Jamaica:
Starting at 7 am, buses will pick up riders every 20 minutes, and transport them to Queens Hall and the Student Union.
Travel time to or from Jamaica is approximately 25-30 minutes.

  • From Flushing:
Starting at 7 am, buses will pick up riders every 20 minutes, and will transport them to the Student Union and Queens Hall.
Travel time to or from Flushing is approximately 15 minutes.

  • Cross campus – between Queens Hall and Student Union:
Every 20 minutes, riders may go from Queens Hall to the Student Union by taking the Jamaica bus across campus; those who wish to go from the Student Union to Queens Hall may take the Flushing bus.
