Queens College offers day and evening classes in its undergraduate College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and its Graduate School. The college's four academic divisions are divided into departments, each with its own chair and the faculty members who teach within it. In addition, there is a
Weekend College, a Summer Session, and a Winter Session. Also of major interest to students are Writing at Queens College, the the SEEK program, and the Academic Senate.


Other noteworthy programs at Queens College include
Adult Collegiate Education, an accelerated degree program for high school graduates age 25 and older; the English Language Institute, an academic program for learning English as a second language; and Professional & Continuing Studies, which offers non-credit certificate programs and development, enrichment, and corporate training opportunities.
