Corinna Singleman

Project Coordinator
she/ her

Dr. Corinna Singleman has had an interest in science communication and education for many years. Her goal as a scientist has been to explore the world, gather what knowledge she can, and share that knowledge as far as possible. She is a part of the Professional Development support team for faculty fellows in this project and works on communications anspects, including working on this website.

Corinna likes anything she can make with her hands: “I love baking, cooking, crafting, crocheting, and painting. I’ve worked on a lot of home projects and really enjoy doing that too. In another life I think I might have gone into carpentry or painting.”

She finds a lot of value in making and thinks that “making forces you to think in new and creative ways. Any time you begin a project, something will inevitably go wrong with your plan (if you even have one to start with). Over the course of your project, you will have to troubleshoot and solve problems. Some will be little but some might lead to a whole new project. Regardless of the outcome, you’re going to learn something and grow during the process.”
