Dr. Rong is a member of the Advisory Committee for the project.

“My research is topology, which seeks to understand properties of mathematical shapes, such as donut shape or knotted circles. The 3D printing technology has allowed us to print those shapes, and this has been very useful for us especially in teaching students concepts in topology.”
