Dr. Helen Gaudette is the Director of the Queens College Office of Global Education Initiatives. In this capacity, she works with faculty to oversee, coordinate, and assess Queens College’s study abroad and international exchange programs. Gaudette manages programs and relationships with partner institutions, keeps faculty informed about programs, and supports faculty’s advising for study abroad. In addition, she advertises and promotes study abroad, internships, and service learning opportunities to current and prospective students, and implements crisis management policies and practices. A full-time member of the Queens College Department of History, she has taught various faculty-led study abroad courses in France, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, and Spain. In 2007, she won the President's Award for Excellence in Teaching. Her latest presentation, "Empowering Women in India and Around the World Through Research, Teaching, and Service Learning," was given at the 2013 Association for International Education Administrators (AIEA) annual conference. She is also the winner of the 2013 Fulbright US - Japan International Education Administrator Award.

Saskia Layden is the Special Projects Coordinator for the Queens College Office of Global Education Initiatives. She works on international projects involving grant writing and fundraising, study abroad initiatives, international faculty engagement on campus, research projects, and community outreach. She has an M.A. in International Education from New York University. Saskia has extensive experience living and working abroad, particularly in Brazil, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy.
Jenny Bellas is our student intern at the Office of Global Education Initaitiatives, she also serves as the Assistant to the Coordinator for the CUNY-Paris Exchange Program. She is a sophmore at Queens College, majoring in Early Education and History.
