Elizabeth Foley is a producer and director of film and theatre. Her award-winning short film about Joan of Arc, Jeanne & Hauviette, was screened around the world and locally at Anthology Film Archives, as part of the New Directors Series. Her current film, the mysterious fairytale Bridge of Names, stars Rip Torn and a cast of super-unknowns. For UNICEF she produced a documentary about the global initiative to protect children, narrated by Julia Ormond. Foley's producing credits include projects for Cinemax, IKEA, Florentine Films, Lear Television and Bravo. Foley teaches producing, directing, screenwriting and film and theatre history at Queens College and the New York Film Academy, and recently at Borough of Manhattan Community College and Five Towns College.
