Alumni
The major was approved by New York State in 2005 and began accepting students the same year. The first seven students to complete the major graduated in Spring 2007. The major has continuously graduated students in each succeeding academic year. There were 24 graduates in the 2010-2011 academic year.
To date, nearly all our graduates have continued their education in some type of graduate program (e.g., graduate school, medical school, dental school). This very high rate of success for our students is due, at least in part, to the research-related training opportunities that are mentored by the Neuroscience faculty and fostered by the College.
