CUNY-Paris Exchange Program

OPEN TO ALL CUNY STUDENTS
who meet the Eligibility Requirements.

Approximate Fall Dates: 

~August 20th – December 31st


Approximate Spring Dates: 

~January 1st – June 30th

 

APPLICATION DEADLINES:

FALL/ACADEMIC YEAR IN PARIS: April 1st

SPRING SEMESTER IN PARIS: October 15th

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: 

 

CUNY STUDENTS:

1. Completion of at least one semester at CUNY 

2. Minimum 2.65 GPA at your home campus.

3. Completion of at least three college-level French classes (Beginner I, Beginner II, Intermediate I) or have the equivalent level**

·        Students who are currently enrolled in Intermediate French I are eligible to apply



HUNTER STUDENTS: 

All of the above + completion of FOUR college-level French classes** 

·        Students who are currently enrolled in Intermediate French II or the combination class (Intermediate French I & II) are eligible to apply.

**There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this requirement.


All CUNY students of all majors are encouraged to apply given that the Eligibility Requirements are met.​

 

IMPORTANT:

**All prospective applicants with an expired passport MUST renew passports AT LEAST 2 months—preferably 3 months—BEFORE the application deadline.

 

Failure to do so may result in not receiving a Student Visa on time and thus, not being able to go to Paris.

     MAILING YOUR APPLICATION:

     If you will be mailing your Paper Application: First, please scan

     it and email the PDF to:

     Mohamed.tabrani@qc.cuny.edu and Blanche.Zahran@qc.cuny.edu.

 

Afterwards, mail the hard copy to:

* Physician's Statements and Color Passport Copies can be handed in after the application deadline, but are required as soon as possible.

 

3.   $400 Application fee

Check or Money Order made out to Queens College

    Applications without the application fee will not be accepted.

 

4. Recommendation from a French Professor

    a. You can either attach a hard copy of your Professor's

        Recommendation Form and Letter with your Paper Application OR

   b. Your professor can email his/her Recommendation Form and Letter to:

       Mohamed.Tabrani@qc.cuny.edu and Blanche.Zahran@qc.cuny.edu.
