Art and Architecture 

                 Conducted in English

An exploration of the principal architects, monuments, and themes of 15th and 16th century Italian architecture. Emphasis will be placed on Renaissance architecture in Florence and other major Italian cities.

Location: Rome and Florence, Italy

Session I: NY departure and return dates: May 28 - June 24, 2016

Arrive in ROME morning of May 29

Session II: NY departure and return dates: June 18 - July 15, 2016

Arrive in ROME morning of June 19

Course: 4 credits

Faculty: Florence University of the Arts 

Housing: Shared housing in apartments

Program Costs

Cost (includes all expenses below except airfare): $3500

CUNY tuition (for in-state, matriculated undergraduate): $1100

Queens College program fee: $400

Travel insurance: $45


Consolidated fee (includes Tuition Differential, Housing, Student and Lab Fees): $1955

Not included in the above cost:

Airfare: $1000 - $1300 (estimate)

Minimum budget for meals and personal expenses of $25 to $30 per day.

Programs are open to all undergraduate students from all CUNY campuses (unless restricted by level of study, language fluency, or other program criteria). Travel on Fridays and some Saturdays for some programs.​​​​​
