Queens College New Adjunct Faculty Orientation will be offered twice in Fall 2012:
* Monday, August 27 (Please register no later than Tuesday 8/21/12 5pm at the link below.)
* Tuesday, September 4 (Please register no later than Tuesday 8/28/12 5pm at the link below.)

The Center for Teaching & Learning and the Office of the Provost are pleased to invite you to an orientation for new adjunct faculty:
Things You Need to Know to Teach at Queens
Same program on Monday, August 27, and Tuesday, September 4 12:30-2:00 pm, Patio Room (marked X on the map below).
Representatives from around campus will discuss resources and services you need to know about in your new capacity as faculty:
* Using library resources
* Accessing instructional technologies
* Teaching online
* Reporting attendance and grades
* Encouraging academic integrity
* Seeking professional development opportunities
Please join us on August 27 or September 4, for information, conversation, and lunch. We encourage you to bring along a colleague: a full-time faculty member, a not-new adjunct, or your departmental chair. Simply share this email, and ask your colleague to RSVP.
