Nathalia Holtzman

Interim Associate Provost of Innovation and Student Success and Associate Professor in Biology

Dr. Nathalia Holtzman is a Co-PI and formerly part of the Professional Development support team for faculty fellows in this project. Her favorite things to make is anything that she has not made before. “It could be a new cooking project, clothes, jewelry, or furniture. I just tiled the bathroom and am now working on building a desk.”

When asked why being a maker is important to her, Dr. H responded: “It allows me to blend my artistic, creative mind and my scientific mind. I love problem solving. So much of my work producing things you can not see. It is great to make something with my hands that I can visualize the progress in real time.”
