Advisement

A detailed English Department Handbook can be obtained in the department office. Additional guidance in choosing courses within the minor can be provided by Faculty advisors.  If you have not spoken to any other advisor, you can ask the Assistant or Associate Chair (in offices KP 601 and 603).

English Minor Program Requirements (Minor Code: 40)

1. Required credits: 15

• ENGL 140W, 150W, 251, 252, AND
• One course from ENGL 253, 254, or 255.

2. Electives credits: 12 

Four courses from the offerings of the English Department at the 200 or 300 level.
