The Academy of the City Charter School is a new progressive, community-based elementary school located on 12th Street in Long Island City. At this time we have openings for student teachers/interns in our classrooms (two kindergarten and two first grade classes), our art program and our technology program.  Each student teacher/intern will work closely with the teachers, the students and the administration in what is a collaborative teaching community.
