The sooner you are vaccinated, the sooner you will be protected!

Every year, more than 2,000 New Yorkers die of seasonal influenza.  A flu vaccination is the best preventative measure that can be taken to safeguard against this harmful virus.  The Mayor’s Office of Labor Relations is hosting its 3rd annual city-wide flu campaign, providing municipal employees, retirees, and dependents with free flu vaccinations.

Getting the flu vaccine is your best defense against seasonal influenza. All City employees should get vaccinated. Flu vaccination can prevent days or weeks of sickness and misery, doctor’s visits, and hospitalization.  All City employees who receive health insurance through the City are covered to receive an annual flu vaccination.

Schedule your worksite appointment in advance at www.apschedule.com/nycflu (username: nyc, password: flushot) or 866-481-4391, Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm.

The Office of Labor Relations has designed a seminar called Transitioning to Retirement which will be offered at 40 Rector Street, on the 3rd floor.

To ensure that employees have all the necessary information to take full advantage of the benefits available to them, we are encouraging employees transitioning to retirement to make the Health Benefits Program one of their stops on the way to retirement.

Go to our Benefits page for more information.
