Welcome to Queens College !
As you no doubt will discover, college is a journey in which
you face many academic and personal challenges. This is especially true
as you enter a new school. To be successful in your college career, you
need to answer a number of important questions: Which academic major
should I choose? What courses must I take to fulfill my degree
requirements? What career opportunities will I have in my chosen field?
How can I juggle the demands of course-work and a job?
Our Academic Advising Center is uniquely positioned to help you find the
answers to these and any other questions you may have. Our advisors can
also refer you to the many other offices on campus that are here to
help you make the most of your college years. I hope during your time
with us you will take advantage of the wealth of concerts, plays,
lectures, sports, and clubs available on campus, and that you will also
get to know many of your fellow students and the members of our
exceptional faculty.
I look forward to seeing you on campus.
