Important Message to Students

As you may well be aware, the CUNYfirst registration system has recently been difficult to access, but is up and running now. While we are hopeful that these difficulties are resolved, the college has taken steps to assist students who need to add or drop courses, as described below.

In addition, CUNY is extending the 100% tuition refund date to the close of business on Wednesday, September 3. This applies to tuition and any fees that would have been partially or completely refunded due to a change in enrollment. Students will not be charged a late registration fee or change of program fee until Thursday, September 4, when the 50% refund policy will be in effect.

If you experience difficulties with CUNYfirst, you may visit the One Stop Center in the Dining Hall, or Advising Center representatives in the computer lab in Kiely Hall, Room 236, to record your add/drop requests on a paper form. The Office of the Registrar will enter these requests in the order received, and will contact you to let you know if they were able to register you in the requested sections. Registration may not be possible in sections that have reached their enrollment cap or have other unmet requirements or prerequisites. Check to see which courses are at or near their enrollment limits. For courses requiring departmental approval, please visit that department’s office.

Thank you for your understanding.

If you register Payment is due
April 1 - July 4 July 9, 2014

Visit your online self-service center to view your account. It is strongly suggested that you pay your bill online, as we are expecting long lines at the Bursar's Office. If paying by check, you can also take advantage of our drop-off boxes located within the front doors of Jefferson Hall and outside the Bursar’s Office in JH200. Payment online by credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover) will incur a nonrefundable 2.65% convenience fee. Payment by electronic fund transfer (e-check) is available with no charge to the student.

If you are a financial aid student, you are required to pay the difference between the anticipated aid appearing on your account and your tuition and fee bill. If the anticipated aid appearing on your account covers your entire bill, no payment is due. If you choose not to attend classes, YOU must drop your courses before the first day of class to avoid any liability.
Welcome to the Office of the Bursar
The Bursar’s Office collects payments and cancels registrations. Credit card payments (MasterCard, American Express, Visa, and Discover) are handled through CUNYfirst (please note: a 2.65% nonrefundable convenience fee is charged for all credit card transactions). An e-check payment from your checking or savings account is available at no charge. Follow the payment instructions in the schedule of classes and in the Bursar's Information Letter; please do not mail cash.
The Bursar's Office has gone paperless!
Tuition bills are no longer mailed to students. An email will be sent to your QC account informing you of the due date of your bill, based on when you registered. This notice will direct you to CUNYfirst to view your bill.
If you do not have a Queens College email account, go to CAMS and register for one immediately.
