HHM 2025 – I Stand With Immigrants Day of Action

Thank you for celebrating with us!

See you in 2026 — and enjoy our photos from this year’s events!

From mid-September to mid-October, departments across the College honor the cultures, histories and contributions of Americans of Hispanic, Latine/a/o/x and Latin American heritage to our campus, our city and the United States at large.

Through music, visual arts, lectures, and conversations with community organizers and scholars, we welcome all to learn, celebrate and connect as a community.

12:15–1:40 pm (Free Hour)
Quad and Dining Hall 400

As one of NYC’s most diverse colleges, Queens College is home to an amazing community representing 153 countries and 93 different languages—and we want YOU to be part of something special! Join us for “I Stand with Immigrants” Day of Action where we’ll connect with over 200 campuses across the country to show love and support for all our immigrant and international students, faculty, and staff.

Come celebrate the incredible contributions of our immigrant community right here on campus! We will have a special event at The Quad (rain location: Dining Hall). Expect an afternoon packed with good vibes, helpful resource tables, fun interactive activities, and plenty of opportunities to show your support to the community.
Plus, we’ve got you covered with free food and giveaways— just make sure to come early because it’s first-come, first-served!

Brought to you by the Queens College Immigrant Student Support Initiative, the Office of Student Development and Leadership, and Latin American and Latino Studies.
