Queens College Center for Jewish Studies
Welcome to the Queens College Center for Jewish Studies. As we are improving our website, please note that some pages are currently under construction. We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance content, accessibility, and resources for our students, faculty, and community.
Our Mission at the Center for Jewish Studies Heeding Moses Maimonides’ call to engage in the pursuit of truth without prejudice, the Queens College Center for Jewish Studies seeks to be an open forum, unfettered by religious or political partisanship, for sustained and intellectually honest discussion of all aspects of Jewish history and culture. Recognizing the urgent need for informed and dispassionate conversation within and among different communities in an increasingly global yet divided world, the Center aspires to be a meeting ground committed to the highest standards of academic rigor and analysis in the study of Jews, Judaism and the State of Israel.
