Hi everyone! Although I am majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders, I have always been passionate about writing and giving students the space to express themselves. My favorite projects to work on are personal statements, supplemental statements, and special essays for post-grad programs. I am excited to work with you!

With our sessions, I strive to provide personalized guidance and constructive feedback to help foster your confidence for various writing assignments. Andrea Rosso Efthymiou, PhD
Originally from California, Andrea has worked in writing center administration in the New York area since 2007. Andrea researches how working in a writing center affects tutors’ civic engagement. She earned her PhD at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and her BA at University of California at Los Angeles. Outside of the writing center, she can often be found cooking, swimming, or traveling with her family.

Annie (she/her) is a writer and writing enthusiast who comes to Queens College by way of the Midwest, where she earned her Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing and accrued more than five years of experience working in writing centers. When not on campus, she’s likely swooning over poetry, museum exhibits, Taylor Swift’s music, cute animals of any variety, her niece, Ruby, or any combination thereof.
