Since joining the department in 2017, Lizandra has regularly taught undergraduate courses with a focus on modern logic, including Propositional and First-Order Logic. Her interests also include the intersections of philosophy of mind and education, and the educational applications and therapeutic dimensions of philosophical practice. A QC alum and first-generation college graduate, she approaches teaching as an opportunity to engage students not only in philosophical inquiry and the history of ideas, but with tools for reflective living. Lizandra holds a B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy, as well as an M.A. in Data Analytics and Applied Social Research. Outside the philosophy department, Lizandra holds a position at the college as an institutional researcher, where her work offers insights into our students’ experiences and development. She has also served as faculty advisor to the Philosophy Club since Fall 2022, supporting student-led discussions, events, and outreach initiatives aimed at cultivating philosophical dialogue across campus.

Michael L. J. Greer (pronouns she/her) is a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the CUNY Graduate Center and a Senior Ethics Fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is a 2025-2026 fellow with The Committee on Globalization and Social Change, as well as a 2025-2026 Care Fellow at the Iowa Care Lab. She works in feminist and social philosophy, applied ethics (esp. bioethics), critical phenomenology, social epistemology, philosophy of science, and fat studies.

Prof. Puglisi conducted his graduate studies in Philosophy at the CUNY Graduate Center. He has been lecturing in the Philosophy Department at Queens College for 25 years. His areas of specialization are Ethics – especially Business Ethics – Epistemology, and Philosophy of Language.

Maria Victoria Salazar is a PhD Candidate in the Philosophy department at The Graduate Center, CUNY. She works primarily on Ancient Greek Philosophy, specifically Plato. Her dissertation is on the role of eros in Plato’s work, how it functions as a lynchpin between Forms and particulars, and how its usefulness as a political emotion. She also has interests in Political Theory and Philosophy of Education.
