Mock Interview

One of the many ways members of the Queens College community support our students is by volunteering to participate in a mock interview.  Members of the faculty and staff pose as interviewers.  They ask probing questions relevant and related to the health professional graduate school the student is applying.  This experience helps the student prepare for his/her “real” interview.  Many students have found this exercise helpful.  Students who have been working with the Health Professions Advisory Services Office are encouraged to participate in this activity prior to the scheduled interview with the health professional graduate program.

Students should request a mock interview two plus weeks before the scheduled health professional school interview. The HPAS office will make every effort to arrange a mock interview prior to your health professional scheduled interview.

Mock Interviews can be scheduled Monday – Thursday, during the hours of 10 am – 12 noon and 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Please complete the Mock Interview Form.

Students are expected to dress appropriately as if participating in a real interview.
