Mission Statement

The Queens College Learning Commons (QCLC) is a central hub for academic support where students acquire the skills and strategies necessary to achieve their undergraduate and graduate degree goals. QCLC provides peer tutoring, workshops, bootcamps, recitations, and other programming to help students optimize their learning.

In collaboration with academic and administrative departments across campus, QCLC fosters a culture of mutual support and belonging, service and civic engagement and a well-rounded education.
Beyond direct academic support, the Learning Commons offers welcoming study spaces, computer labs, and a printing station, ensuring students have the resources they need to collaborate, create, and succeed. Through inclusive, accessible, and student-centered services, QCLC inspires the pursuit of academic excellence and personal achievement while contributing to the campus community.
