The faculty of Queens College has continuously produced world-class and internationally-recognized research in its 75-year existence. Scholarly productivity has steadily increased in the publication of books, book chapters and peer-reviewed journal publications, in the presentation of scholarship at national and international conferences and invited lectures, in the composition and performance of musical and artistic works, and in newer technologically-driven works like blogging. Queens College is dedicated to fostering research opportunities for its students, particularly its undergraduates. Queens has been an active member of the City University of New York consortium working with the Council of Undergraduate Research (CUR) in an effort to expand undergraduate research opportunities with faculty as well as integrating research into the Queens College curriculum.
