QCard


If you do not yet have a QCard, please follow these steps to obtain one:

Students

  • Claim QC Username here​
  • Upload vaccination verification to CUNYfirst. If you are not vaccinated, follow the Not Fully vaccinated/Do Not Disclose steps at the bottom of the page in CUNYfirst.​
  • Read the instructions to submit your photo online.
  • Click here to upload your photo.*
  • Pick up your QCard from Public Safety at the Main Gate (Kissena Boulevard).
  • When you arrive for your appointment, provide official identification to Public Safety officers, who will give you your QCard.
  • Use your QCard to access campus.
*Current processing times are 10-14 business days. If you receive an error when uploading your photo, please submit a ticket to support@qc.cuny.edu. Provide your full name and EMPLID.*

Faculty/Staff

  • Claim QC Username here.
  • Upload vaccine verification to CUNYfirst. If you are not vaccinated, follow the Not Fully vaccinated/Do Not Disclose steps at the bottom of the page in CUNYfirst.
  • Submit your photo here
  • You will receive an email from ITS with instructions to book your appointment to pick up the QCard from Public Safety at the Main Gate (Kissena Boulevard).
  • When you arrive for your appointment, show the email to Public Safety officers, who will give you your QCard.
  • Use your QCard to access campus.

If you left your QCard in your office on campus, you may use the CUNY VaxPass to retrieve your QCard, but you must still return to one of the entrance gates and tap your QCard to register that you are on campus.​

​​​QCards are issued by appointment only. Photos must be submitted online and approved by ITS. Click here for instructions to submit your photo online. You must bring one state-issued or government-issued photo ID as proof of identification (e.g., your old college ID, a driver’s license, a state-issued non-driver ID, or a passport).

To get a replacement card create a ticket, go to https://support.qc.cuny.edu​. *Replacement fees will be waived until October 1, 2021.*

Visitors


All visitors must be approved prior to accessing the campus. Request for visitor access must be made at least 5 business days prior to the visit. Before completing the steps below please read CUNY Covid-19 Visitor-Policy.

  1. Use this link Health Verification - CLEARED4 to enter each visitor into the Cleared4 system to access the Queens College campus. If the visitor has been on campus before or is affiliated with another CUNY Site and already has the Cleared4 Access Pass/a CUNY Access Pass, please skip to step 2.
  2. Request visitor access by submitting a visitor request form online.
  3. Visitors who are approved to visit the campus will receive an email from QCA20/Proxyclick with additional requirements and instructions on how to obtain an access pass.
  4. Once visitors meet vaccination and Proxyclick requirements to obtain an access pass, they may access the campus by presenting the access pass AND a government-issued photo identification.



 

 To ensure the durability and validity of your QCard:
  • Keep it in a wallet or cardholder
  • Keep it away from magnets and computers to avoid magnetic damage
  • Do not punch holes in your card
  • Do not tamper with the information or picture printed on the card
  • Do not wash the card
  • Do not use the card for any purpose for which it was not designed
