The following campus access policies will be in effect for Summer 2024, beginning Monday, June 3. Please review carefully.

ID checks will not be required to enter the QC campus. Please note, you must have an active QCard (Queens College ID card), CUNY ID card, or QC Alumni ID to enter the library.

Pedestrian and vehicle access to campus:  The 65th Ave. and Kissena Blvd. gate will be open to vehicles and pedestrians from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm daily, including weekends. From 11:30 pm to 6:30 am, vehicles and pedestrians may use the Main Gate entrance and exit on Kissena Blvd. (by the Public Safety office). Vehicles must have a valid QC parking decal and pedestrians must present a valid QCard upon entering campus after 11 pm. 

  • Gate #2 (Melbourne Ave. and 150th St.) will be open to pedestrians from 7 am to 11 pm daily, including weekends. It will not be open to vehicles during the summer.
  • Gate #3 (Reeves Ave. and 153rd St.) will be open to vehicles and pedestrians 24 hours a day. Vehicles must have a valid QC parking decal and pedestrians must present a valid QCard upon entering campus after 11 pm. 
  • The Queens Hall vehicle and pedestrian entrance will be open via Main Street from 6:30 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday.
  • Queens Hall walkway gates will be open from 6:30 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday.
  • The Student Union gate will be open from 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday.
  • Colden Center gate will be open to pedestrians 7 am to 10 pm daily, and on weekends when events are scheduled. 

How to get a QCard

To obtain a QCard, you must have a CAMS (College Account Management System) account. If you do not have one, visit https://cams.qc.cuny.edu.

Photos must be submitted online and approved by ITS. Once your photo has been approved, your QCard will be printed out and ready for pick up in I-Building 200. You must bring a photo ID as proof of identification (e.g., a driver’s license, a state-issued non-driver ID, or a passport) when picking up your QCard.
